My laptop is performing really bad lately. Could it be because of malware or something? I am trying to figure out if an antivirus will solve the problem or the laptop is just outdated and I need a new one.

Hi. I don't know if antivirus would solve it one hundred percent but I still would recommend you to check your laptop for viruses. If you have them then great, you know what to do to solve your problems, if not then you need to update your hardware. I think that you would need to read more about antivirus comparison and choose a better antivirus that could solve your problem. Good luck.
