I found that this sounded alot like the song & is much more easier to play, this was discovered by ear, & was the very first song I tabed & learned to play.
First when playing an AIC song always tune guitar Eb & down half step. first peace goes:
let the chords ring for brief momment; this will be played throug the whole song. also when ready to begin singing sweep the string from bottom up & top to bottom occasionly(makes up for the other guitar)
[1st]-0-0
[2nd]--2-3
the next part is "what do I see cross the way..." chorus
[1st]-3-0--bd5 repeat 4x for each of these chorus'
[2nd]-3-0
[3rd]-4-0
[4th]-4-0
now for chorus "I-I-I can't find my..." (this is strumed)
[1st]-9--5--7--9---h9 repeat 5x
[2nd]-9--5--7--9
[3rd]-10-6--8-10
[4th]-10-6-8-10
I think the solo goes as follows but I'm not sure the acustic & electric version sound like different chord patterns, they may have used some sort of pedal, but you can tinker with that...
[4th]--------------------0-0-1----------
[5th]------------------------------bup21
[6th]-18-hb20-s12--b14-16-----14-14-12--
at the end of the song play through 1st to 2nd riff and then bend chords as far as possible & slowly release (this will give that haunting A.I.C sound)
